Our Little Fish
Ben loves the water and is now enrolled in swimming lessons. Every Saturday morning he has a group lesson at 9:30. Keith and I can't believe him. He has absolutely no fear. We call his swimming teacher, Bill, "The Baby Whisperer." It is amazing what this teacher can get these babies to do in the water. Ben goes under water, falls off the side and goes under and is working on swimming between two people. It is crazy to see these little ones and how comfortable most of them are in the pool.

Picnic at the Park with Titi, Lauren and Lucas
Spring is here and Ben can't get enough of the fresh air. He loves to be outside, so every chance we get we make plans that involve the outdoors. We had a picnic at the park with Titi Alex, Lauren and Lucas last week. We had a ball. Ben has found his favorite place to be on the playground.... THE SWINGS!!

Visit to DC
Ben and Mommy took a quick weekend trip to DC to visit Mommy's friend Melissa and her son, Max. Guess who went with us for the visit? Bammie went with us and it was so much fun having her join us for some fun. We arrived on Friday afternoon and had a nice lunch in Old Town, Alexandria, VA & also found time for some shopping. We spent Saturday in DC enjoying the Cherry Blossom Festival Parade and a visit to The Smithsonian Natural History Museum. We saw lots of dinosaurs and many more of Ben's favorite animals. We plan to visit again and see more of the sights when Ben gets older. The weekend away was lots of fun and it was great to see our friends.

Ben's Vacation in Arizona
Ben took his first trip on a plane to visit Nana and Grandpa in Arizona. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the gorgeous weather. Ben got to spend lots of quality time with Nana and Grandpa. He spent a full day with Nana and Grandpa & had them all to himself, while Daddy, Mommy and Aunt Kim went to Sedona. He did very well on the plane and seemed to adjust to the three hour time difference without any major problems.
Ben went to his first baseball game in Arizona. He had a blast watching the game, but most enjoyable was the people watching he was able to do. He is our social butterfly.
He also experienced the swimming pool for the first time, too. He absolutely loved the water. Splashing is his favorite!!
Our day in Sedona was amazing. We spent time at Red Rock National Park, where we hiked and took in the beautiful landscape.
Vacation is much different now that Ben is in our lives. We had a great time and enjoyed every minute spent with our little comedian.
