The Baby Shower : The day couldn't have been more PERFECT!

Special Friend, Gretchen and her little angel, Zac. He has given Mommy V. lots of practice holding him and Gretchen has given wise advice on how to care for a newborn baby.

Angela & Alex. Friends since 1995. We met a U of Hartford, our freshman year. Gosh, time flies. Alex's son, Lucas is our godchild.




Friends and family from near and far came to celebrate this exciting time with us. Everyone was so generous. We don't need another thing, just Baby Varriale's arrival.

Our dear friends Molly and David Kirby and their 3 month old daughter, Meghan came from Fairport, NY to visit and join in the fun. Baby Varriale can't wait to meet Meghan!!

Childhood friends Nicky, Betsy and Bev drove 6 hours to see us. Nicky's son Brennan, also came. He was an excellent guest and everyone went crazy over him. They made a weekend of it and stayed with my mother, who loved every minute of having them.


















Kathryn will be taking care of Baby Varriale, when Mommy returns to work in early March.

The gifts just kept coming and at the end of the afternoon, Mommy Varriale was exhausted. We are so lucky to have such caring and giving friends and family.





















Nana Varriale was busy for the past several months making lots of beautiful hand-made items for Baby Varriale to stay warm and cozy. We can't wait to cuddle with our little love bug.



Thank you for sharing in this special time with us. We can't wait to introduce our child to all of our wonderful family and friends.

Northwest Park - Our Place To Relax

Northwest Park:

Northwest Park is a small family park in Windsor,which is truly a place to find peace and relaxation for all of us. As we anticipate the arrival of the baby and look forward to the many walks together, we found this park to be a wonderful place to daydream of time ahead and enjoy time together as a family.


Northwest Park has so much to offer. They have many hiking trails along with picnic areas, animals and lots of wildlife to enjoy. Lucy cannot get enough of the gorgeous grounds and all of the grassy areas she can sniff and sniff and sniff some more.....

We know this park will see lots of this family as the time arrives and we have a little one to enjoy!

Welcome to our Blog! Chapter 1-- 33 weeks and counting!

Welcome to our Blog! Well, after many months of my Grandfather, Gervise's influence and some direction from our friend Gretchen, we finally have started our blog. We thought that this would be a terrific time to begin updating our friends and family, near and far with the progress of our pregnancy and the anticipation of our little bambino's arrival.

It is hard to believe that 33 weeks have passed and we only have 7 weeks left to go! Our little bundle of joy will be here before we know it, maybe before or after the due date of October 29th.

Over the past few months we have really made progress with getting ourselves organized and completing the nursery. Daddy V. has been very busy and put tons of love into getting our Bambino's nursery already. Mommy V. has supervised and watched as Daddy has worked his heart out, getting everything done. Let's just say Daddy has been an absolute saint and been a huge life saver to our whole family; including Mommy and Lucy. I am not sure this entire pregnancy would be as enjoyable, if it wasn't for the wonderful support and love Daddy delivers without any question, every day. Our family and friends have also been so supportive during this exciting time and we look around us everyday and give thanks for each one of you, in our lives.
